DESCRIPTION:\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrrrr….the temperatures are predicted to be in the 20’s over the week.\nTo protect the water infrastructure, the water to the garden and the trailer will be shutoff starting Monday at 3 PM and continuing through the week until temperatures rise above freezing – this could be Saturday morning.\nHow to protect your plants:\n\nWater deeply\nProvide the plants with some fish emulsion amendment to protect the roots\nCover your tender plants with breathable row cover\n\nProtect your hose bibs:\n\nPlease disconnect the hoses attached to your hose bibs\nDouble check those soaker hoses and make sure they are not left on accidentally\n\nThank you to Jim Willman, Steve Camp and Ray Porter for their constant attention to the forecast and protecting our water infrastructure.\nMany thanks to the Herb Team as well for the efforts and planning that ensures the herbs have water reserves to keep those plant babies healthy during these intermittent water outages.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n
