Join us for the May Sunshine Community Gardens Speaker Series Talk – Pollinator Gardening & Monarch Basics!

This event is free and available to the public. We’ll be meeting in the usual spot in front of the trailer.

Join us to learn about:

  • must-have native Texas pollinator plants
  • which plants attract which pollinators
  • monarch butterfly & native bee basics
  • Certified Monarch Waystation requirements

Jennifer Boley is a Master Gardener and Founder and Director of NEO (Nature and Eclectic Outdoors), a nonprofit with the mission of helping people of all ages and backgrounds lead more outdoor-oriented lives for better health, well-being, and resilience.

She is also the Director of Healthy Outdoor Communities, a NEO initiative that partners with community members to improve outdoor, nature, park, and food equity in historically marginalized communities. NEO manages an Urban Learning Garden plot at Sunshine Community Gardens directly across from the office building. It is the Certified Monarch Waystation plot with the honeysuckle arbor.
