Water Shutoff @ 3:00pm

 

Brrrr….the temperatures are predicted to be in the 20’s over the week. To protect the water infrastructure, the water to the garden and the trailer will be shutoff starting Monday at 3 PM and continuing through the week until temperatures rise above freezing – this could be Saturday morning. How to protect your plants: Water deeply Provide the plants with some fish emulsion amendment to protect the roots Cover your tender plants with breathable row cover Protect your hose bibs: Please disconnect the hoses attached to your hose bibs Double check those soaker hoses and make sure they are not left on accidentally Thank you to Jim Willman, Steve Camp and Ray Porter for their constant attention to the forecast and protecting our water infrastructure.
